Dr Catherine Bishop (Honorary Research Fellow, Sydney University) is the author of Minding Her Own Business (winner, 2016 Ashurst Business Literature Prize). She is currently writing books about New Zealand’s colonial businesswomen, missionary Annie Lock and, with Jennifer Aston, co-editing Female Entrepreneurs in the Long Nineteenth Century: a Global Perspective.
