Ayelet Zoran-Rosen is the editor of the New Zealand Journal of Research on Europe at The University of Auckland. She holds a B.A and an M.A in Political Science and Middle Eastern History from Tel Aviv University and a PhD in History and Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies from NYU. Her research deals with the incorporation of Bosnia into the Ottoman Empire and the processes of Ottomanization and Islamization that accompanied this integration.
