Jessica Hodgens received her PhD from Monash University in 2017. Her research uses a combination of oral history and archival research to trace the histories of Dja Dja Wurrung people, in central Victoria. She is a co-author, with Dja Dja Wurrung families, of a book of oral histories entitled ‘Djuwima Djarra. Dja Dja Wurrung: Kiakiki Wandedak’. She is currently revising her thesis for publication as a book.
