Dr Kate Fullagar, Senior Lecturer in Modern History at Macquarie University is the author of The Savage Visit: New World People and Popular Imperial Culture in Britain, 1710-1795 (Berkeley, 2012) and a forthcoming monograph, Faces of Empire: Three 18th-Century Lives (New Haven, 2019). She is co-editor of a book with M. A. McDonnell on Indigenous Experiences in a Revolutionary Age (Baltimore, 2018).
