        Judith Pugh’s doctoral thesis (Latrobe 2018)  examined Australia’s first national arts subsidy scheme, established by Andrew Fisher to support visual artists. A writer and editor, Judith was a political strategist, ran an opera company and owned a gallery for emerging artists. She publishes regularly in Artist Profile magazine.
