Catherine Schieve, PhD/MFA is a researcher, intermedia artist, curator and educator who investigates expressive worship practices across diverse communities. Originally from the US, she now lives in the Victorian highlands and teaches contemporary music at Box Hill Institute. She works independently as a social researcher, most recently for the Research Institute on Social Cohesion, State of Victoria. She is an avid photographer and soundscape recordist.
