Hilary Howes is a postdoctoral fellow working on Professor Matthew Spriggs’ Laureate Fellowship project ‘The Collective Biography of Archaeology in the Pacific: A Hidden History’. In addition to her current research, which addresses the German-speaking tradition within Pacific archaeology and ethnology, she has experience in provenance research and repatriation.
