Donna Lee Brien, PhD, is Professor of Creative Industries (Creative Writing) at Central Queensland University. Donna has an MA and PhD in creative writing for which she wrote biographies, and is a past President of the Australasian Association of Writing Programs. Co-editor of The Australasian Journal of Popular Culture, her most recent books are Recovering Lost Histories Through Fact and Fiction: Forgotten Lives (with Dallas Baker and Nike Sulway, Cambridge Scholars, 2017), Offshoot: Contemporary Life Writing Methodologies and Practice (with Quinn Eades, UWAPublishing, 2018), and The Routledge Companion to Literature and Food (with Lorna Piatti-Farnell, Routledge, 2018).
