Honae Cuffe is a PhD candidate at the University of Newcastle, researching Australian strategies in integrating national foreign policy interests within the broader frameworks of regional powers and great and powerful friends, and the feasibility of these attempts (1921-57). She has been published in Flinders Journal of History and Politics and has a forthcoming article in History Australia (Final acceptance 11/04/2018).
