Currently Assistant Director, Trove Outreach, at the National Library of Australia, over her library career, Hilary Berthon has maintained a strong interest in nurturing collaborative approaches to the digitisation and preservation of library materials. At the National Library, she has worked in a variety of roles including as Manager, Digitisation and Photography; as Coordinator of the Australian Newspaper Plan, a collaboration of Australian state and territory libraries and the national libraries of Australia and New Zealand; in fostering the National Library’s emerging digitisation partnership program and in the National Preservation Office.
