Dr Peter Prince has spent the last decade researching legal belonging in nineteenth and twentieth century Australia. A revised version of his PhD thesis 'Aliens in their own land - "Alien" and the rule of law in colonial and post-federation Australia' will be published by ANU Press in 2018.
